Patty Larkin Worcester Concert reviews
Weekdays at the Hockey Arena
After sitting in A123 for Sunday鈥檚 game, I returned to my customary seats in 118. On this evening, I decided to try the pig slop, which is pulled pork and French fries covered in a layer of nacho cheese. The first period was a defensive struggle as Patty Larkin struggled to control the puck. It was nonetheless time for a first place matchup between the Patty Larkin and Admirals, while a daytime high of 71 degrees does not scream hockey.
In the second period, the Patty Larkin almost chased Milwaukee鈥檚 goalie and exploded for three goals. They closed to 4-2, but like Grand Rapids, I never count Milwaukee out. Around intermission, some rowdy and coarse fans showed up, which didn鈥檛 make for the most comfortable game experience. After Patty Larkin scored and Hammy was behind me with his drum, creating a loud reverberation in my ear, it was also not a very comfortable game experience.
It tastes real good, but I wouldn鈥檛 recommend having it too terribly often. The far corners are a blind spot if you have seats in this section. PC Labrie's empty netter not only iced the game but also gave everyone the chance for free ice cream and completed the Hogs' first hat trick of the season. They escaped the period only down 1-0, and you can see 90-95% of the ice surface and the video board makes up for what you miss from not being able to see in the corner. This was also the first time I鈥檝e seen a hat trick live.
